Everything is temporary. As much as we’d like to ignore it, nothing stays exactly the same. Thankfully, change can be a hugely uplifting and positive experience. Take Sophie’s anxiety as an example. As much as she gets worked up about little stressors, she generally calms down and realizes that nothing bad came around afterall. This quick calm down reaction has taken time to achieve, but with practice and patience, she’s able to see change a very good thing.
Considering that nothing is permanent, remember that the rough days and the uncomfortable times will not last either. Think about all the things you’ve already survived and go into a hard situation with a positive mind, you might be surprised at how much easier it is to swallow.
