Have you ever lost your cool or freaked out at the tiniest of issues only because you were already frustrated about something else? Here’s the thing – we all get those moments. And most of the time, we look back and say that we wished we could have been calmer, more mature, and quieter. But have you ever thought of just being in the bad moment? When Sophie is upset or nervous and has no where to go to, she kind of just chills out right there in that bad moment. She sits as quietly as possible, very carefully observing the things around her, and reacts when necessary. What’s interesting is that she basically surrenders to the moment and accepts the bad parts.
None of us are going to go through life without reacting emotionally to bad moments, but we can try to just deal with it, be in it, and react accordingly. Don’t be perfect, just keep adjusting your style and you’ll be just fine.
