truth be told, I love snacks. of course, now that there’s a mini-me growing in my belly, I really LOVE snacks. unfortunately, not all snacks power you up the same way throughout the day, and if you’re anything like me when it comes to a workday, you’re going to need something that keeps you going when the going gets rough. so what’s a girl to do if all she craves is brownies and cream cheese for a snack? try try try to get your healthy snack vibe on. and then if you slip up, try again 🙂 here are my favorite go-to snacks when I’m aiming for the healthy power-up that I know will keep me happy and productive:
greek yogurt with honey and blueberries: protein rich and sweet, I eat this all the time
toast with almond butter and sliced banana: I crave this every day and it makes my belly so happy
acai bowl with all the fixings: if I’m home, I love love love the taste of one of these bad boys
avocado toast: bonus points if there’s sea salt and halved cherry tomatoes!
green juice and an asian pear: this is for when I’m feeling super healthy, but it’s still awesome for you
sometimes, though, I just fall completely off the wagon and eat cookies or a giant chocolate costco muffin 🙂
