I’m pretty sure the theme of my life is to enjoy the little things, or at least that’s what keeps me partially zen when shit hits the fan. With the new year comes a ton of new things, and one of my favorite things to focus on is decorating our little apartment. Anyone who’s been over for a dinner party can attest to the fact that our place is more like a jumbo dressing room at Barney’s but it’s still ours and we (well really just me) have so much fun adding little touches here and there.
Recently, the Mr and I have gotten really into art and the cool ways it can bring life to our shoebox apartment. We’ve collected stuff, created stuff, and hung stuff in a haphazard but loving way, and I’m ready to 1. showcase what we have and 2. add some new pizazz to the place. Since we aren’t rolling in the dough quite yet but still want class and elegance, I popped over to check out the prints and home decor at Minted. These guys have either been to my apartment and read my mind, or just have a good sense of what looks nice just about anywhere. They’ve added new section of art prints focused on individual and creative artists that allow for basically anyone to decorate their place/bathroom/dressing room/mansion/trailer. So far, I’ve realized I have a serious thing for the wild west, graphic prints, and sassy pictures. Exhibit A, B, and C, all from Minted:
I’m thinking about doing some sort of gallery arrangement (see how to do this here) with all white frames so that I can include all three types without making it look like I threw stuff on the walls. Minted makes home decor a snap, I can’t wait to share what I’ve put together!
