like to laugh and care about real world problems? this newsletter is for you. recently launched and the brain child of lena dunham, this newsletter is quickly becoming one of my favorite weekly reads. I haven’t figured out what their subject matter cadence is, but they do a great job with interviews and thought pieces. it’s kind of like chatting with a really old friend.
I start my day with this. it’s a quick, easy to read email that lands in your inbox before you rise in the morning and focuses on the hottest topics. they even create comprehensive guides for things like the Syrian refugee crisis so that you actually know what’s going on. the writers are hilarious and never fail to make me laugh pre-coffee, which is super hard to do.
I’m don’t spend a lot of time catching up on pop culture, music, or fashion, but I do make time for manrepeller. manrepeller is part blog, part comedy show, part news source with a slew of really talented writers. it also encourages me to step up my fashion game.
what do you do with the companies, people, and sites that you come across and absolutely love? if you’re like most of us, you forget about them because you don’t have time to remember everything you’ve found. my biggest tool to combat this is to add these gems to my twitter lists. twitter allows you to create completely customizable lists so that you can skip the massive home page feed and go straight to the good stuff. whenever I need a good dose of motivation, this is my favorite list to peruse.
