Notebooks. Whether they’re all paper, sticky, or floating in the cloud, they’re often our lifeline for all things life. I’m an avid notetaker, heck even a little bit obsessive about it, and I attribute my note taking to getting much more done, remembering more, and being a little bit saner. Notebooks are the key to productivity for some and a good way to get creative for others. No matter what, they’re here to stay and they’ve got a lot to give to you!
Don’t know where to start? Try to make a list of the household chores you have to do for the day, or something else light. Every time you finish something, cross it off. I do this on a daily basis and it is absolutely one of the best feelings! Here are my favorite note taking options:
Moleskine – the queen of notebooks in my opinion, these guys are reliable and have incredibly neat notebooks in both soft and hard covers.
May books – a great option if you’re looking to design your own, their patterns include anchors, monograms, and chevron pattern!
Rhodia – a classic office notebook, these notebooks look amazing no matter what.
Black n’ Red – another office stable, and with the spiraled sides, you can’t help but flip the pages.
Post-it!: the all American classic, I love to get these in colors and patterns for quick lists
Knock Knock: for funnier officemates, these guys have made an amazing array of hilarious stickies that will get you motivated in a snap.
Evernote – in my opinion, Evernote is the best online option for note taking. You can access them online and offline, and on all of your devices.
Google Docs – Another online/offline option, Google Docs is a great way to share and comment on documents with colleagues. I use it for both my personal and professional documents and it works well.
